Surface mountable thin film filters are available in band pass, band stop, high pass and low pass configurations.
Thin film filters are made up of quarter-wave-thick layers of high-index and low-index material deposited on a glass substrate. Thin film filters work on the principle of stacking multiple resonant cavities and coupling them in a manner that produces a “flat top” filter shape. Filtronic’s thin film filters enable circuits to be printed upon high dielectric materials such as ceramic. These low loss substrates enable significant size reduction for space critical applications. Surface mountable thin film filters are available in band pass, band stop, high pass and low pass configurations. Frequency range suitable from 3GHz to 114GHz.

Product description
Surface mountable thin film filters are available in band pass, band stop, high pass and low pass configurations. Frequency range suitable from 3GHz to 114GHz.
Our thin film filters enable circuits to be printed upon high dielectric materials such as ceramic. These low loss substrates enable significant size reduction for space critical applications.
All designs are fully modelled prior to release using the latest electrical, mechanical and thermal modelling tools ensuring designs remain compliant over severe temperature ranges.
All filters are 100% tested using Filtronic’s in-house fully automated test suite; recording all RF parameters.
