Hades X2
70-90GHz
E-Band active diplexer
Cut the cost of E-band radios while boosting performance with the Hades active diplexer. It includes a built-in transmit power detector for easy calibration and automatic level control (ALC). Modules can be fully calibrated at the factory, with key performance data like Tx power and Rx gain stored on an onboard EEPROM. A built-in temperature sensor gives accurate amplifier temperature readings, helping with thermal monitoring. WR12 port locations and directions can be customised to suit your system design. Hades is highly configurable, supporting a mix of GaAs and InP amplifiers in both transmit and receive paths. Where extra power is needed, two GaAs power amps can be combined to deliver high linear output — ideal for long-range, high-performance E-band links.

Overview
Our Hades series comprises advanced E-band active diplexers designed to enhance both performance and cost-effectiveness in high-frequency radio systems. Operating in the 71–76 GHz and 81–86 GHz bands, Hades integrates configurable high-power amplifiers (PAs) and low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) into a compact, lightweight module. This integration boosts RF performance while reducing system size and weight, making it ideal for commercial and military telecommunications applications — including airborne platforms and High-Altitude Platform Systems (HAPS).
Hades diplexers are designed with versatility in mind, offering configurable options that allow for the incorporation of either Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) or Indium Phosphide (InP) amplifiers in both the transmit and receive chains. This flexibility enables original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to tailor the diplexers to specific performance requirements, achieving transmit saturated powers exceeding +30 dBm, receive noise figures below 4 dB, and supporting high-linearity modulation schemes up to 1024QAM. Additionally, the diplexers feature a wide 5 GHz bandwidth, integrated temperature sensors, and customisable WR12 port configurations, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across various deployment scenarios.
Why choose Hades X2?
- Optimised performance and efficiency – Integrates high-power amplifiers (PAs) and low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) within a compact active diplexer, improving overall E-Band radio efficiency and reducing system size and weight.
- Flexible and customisable design – Configurable with Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) or Indium Phosphide (InP) amplifiers, allowing OEMs to tailor transmit power (>30 dBm) and noise figure (<4 dB) to specific application needs.
- Seamless integration and high reliability – Offers wide 5 GHz bandwidth, integrated temperature sensors, and WR12 port compatibility, ensuring robust performance across terrestrial, airborne, and HAPS communication networks.
The Hades active diplexer is an innovative, high-performance solution for next-generation E-Band radio systems. With its configurable architecture, high power efficiency, and compact design, it provides OEMs with the flexibility and reliability needed for cutting-edge wireless communications in commercial and defence applications.
