Purpose of role

With the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for implementing Filtronic’s marketing strategy and tactics. Their role day to day will be extremely varied and will cover all elements of the marketing mix

Typical duties include:

  • Manage and maintain filtronic.com.
  • Managing Filtronic’s social media channels – owned and paid for.
  • Creating, running and reporting on digital campaigns across a range of platforms including marketing automation, PPC and social media.
  • Managing company participation in trade exhibitions, conferences, workshops and seminars.
  • Importing leads and database management within our CRM tool (NetSuite). You will build targeted lists that drive campaigns within our automation tool.
  • Sourcing of promotional goods.
  • Co-ordinating video/photography shoots.
  • Liaising with a range of external creative agencies.

  • An understanding of agile marketing, this is a busy department that gets involved in all areas of Marketing.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and create action.
  • Excellent communication skills to inspire stakeholders and represent the brand.
  • Strong organisational skills to deliver multiple projects to deadline and budget and work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing or a related field.
  • Proven working experience (min 5 years) in a busy marketing department.
  • Good level of experience of digital marketing, in a B2B environment (min 2 years).
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing marketing database, email, social media and/or digital advertising campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of website (WordPress) and marketing analytics tools.

  • At busy times you may be asked to work additional hours to help clear work (especially when the deadlines for major projects are approaching), so a flexible approach is a must.
  • Adaptability: Be prepared to support ad-hoc marketing projects as requested by the Marketing Manager.
  • Company goals: Be prepared to get involved in other ad-hoc marketing team tasks as they arise relating to the marketing and wider company goals.
