Purpose of role

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual willing to learn the operational requirements of a fast-moving stores and become a key member of the team. All training will be provided.

Summary of responsibilities:

You will be trained and mentored to become familiar and competent with all functions relating to the operations of the Stores department:

• Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received.
• Liaising with Purchasing with regard to deliveries and discrepancies in stock.
• Keeping detailed records of shortages and processing of requisitions.
• Updating inventory management systems regularly and ensure full lot traceability is maintained
• Picking goods in line with shopfloor requirements.
• Organising collection and despatch of delivering goods through 3^rd party software.
• Ensuring all goods are stored in appropriate environmental conditions.

Skills, attributes and experience

• Proficient user of all Microsoft packages especially Excel.
• Confident communicator.
• Willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude
• Minimum 4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths and English)
