Small Cap Awards – Technology Company of the Year

Being named Small Cap Technology Company of the Year is a tremendous honour and an important milestone for everyone at Filtronic.

This award recognises the significant progress we have made in establishing Filtronic as a leading provider of high-performance RF solutions for the space, aerospace and defence, and telecoms infrastructure markets. Over the past year, we have continued to build on our reputation for engineering excellence and innovation, culminating in the announcement of our largest-ever contract award – a $32.5 million follow-on order from SpaceX for our E-band Cerus 32 Solid State Power Amplifier.

Being named Product Innovation of the Year at the Made in the North East Awards is a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for everyone at Filtronic.

The award recognises the innovation, engineering excellence and dedication that went into developing our Cerus 32 V and Prometheus high-power V-band GaN SSPAs. These products showcase our commitment to pushing the boundaries of high-performance RF technology, delivering advanced solutions that enable the next generation of communications and defence applications.

King’s Award for Enterprise
Innovation

Filtronic has been honoured with the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation for 2024, marking its fourth recognition from the King’s/Queen’s Awards program. This accolade celebrates Filtronic’s outstanding design and manufacture of the Cerus E-band Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA), a key technology supporting satellite communications, including SpaceX’s Starlink™ network.
