Filtronic clinches the coveted “Company to Watch” award at the annual Satellite Mobile Innovation Awards

Filtronic, a frontrunner in high-frequency communications for the satellite communications market, has clinched the prestigious “Company to Watch” award at the annual Satellite Mobile Innovation Awards. Renowned as a beacon for cutting-edge advancements in the SatCom industry, these annual awards from the Satellite show serve as a testament to Filtronic’s relentless pursuit of innovation and excellence.

The award entry focused on Filtronic’s Cerus 32 Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA), which garnered high praise from the panel of industry judges. Filtronic’s market-leading Cerus amplifiers, harness the power of our in-house designed MMIC (monolithic microwave integrated circuits) amplifiers at ultra-high frequencies (E-band – 71-76GHz and 81-86GHz) to generate significantly larger signals than previously achievable through a single device.

This groundbreaking innovation caught the attention of the judges, who recognised it as one of the standout submissions of the year. They were impressed with the product performance and market penetration of this new product.
